About

Katie Ahmann attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Vocal Performance. Her musical journey took off with a first place finish in the American Protégé International Competition and award recital at Carnegie Hall. Katie made her radio debut on KDFC, performing Miss Pinkerton in Menotti's Old Maid and the Thief. In her European debut at the Vienna Summer Music Festival, she portrayed the title role in the world premiere of Michael Polo's opera Pluto. Other career highlights include playing the roles of Despina in the Bloomington Summer Opera Workshop production of Così fan tutte and Luisa in the San Francisco Conservatory production of The Fantasticks. She now lives in Los Angeles where she is working as an actress in the Theatrical and Commercial Industry. 

Music Lessons

Throughout Katie's six years at the Conservatory, her love for music education flourished. She began teaching private vocal lessons in the Spring of 2019 and served as the Conservatory's German tutor from 2018-2021. Katie is able to accommodate students through in-person and virtual lessons via Zoom and FaceTime.
